From February of 2007 to November 2008 I worked for DR (Danmarks Radio - the national Danish broadcaster) in the department for interactive production (DR Interaktiv Produktion).
We are located in DR Byen - Segment 2
The first project I worked on was DR Update - an online news service providing short news-stories around the clock.
DR Update with cliplist at right
It was my job to develop the frontend: Both the HTML and CSS, and the javascripts that updates the cliplist from special RSS-feeds from the DR CMS. Once every minute the cliplist is updated to check if more news-stories has been added.
In the late autumn of 2007 a colleague and I were asked to create the new startpage for dr.dk. It had been decided to split the screen in a column for news and a column for media. We developed a system that extracts content from the CMS (as XML) and formats this to the look defined by DR Design. This way the news-division can constantly update the content in different areas, using the CMS system that they already know.
www.dr.dk is the most visited webpage in Denmark
In the beginning of 2008 the new startpage was launched, and new features are still being added.
One of my main tasks in DR Interactive Production has been in the team that develops and maintains the generic mediaplayer component.
Example of the mediaplayer component on a webpage
This component allows the editors all over dr to insert mediacontent on any page in the CMS System.
Another project was a rating module I developed for DR Musik

In april of 2008 we made Karriere Kanonen - a talent program for bands and solo musicians from all over the country.
Infopage for one of the participating bands
Ten bands are presented each week for five weeks. Users can download and rate the music, and suggest improvements. The best bands get airplay on DR radio channel P3
Users can embed each bands' infocard on other webpages.
